Husband and wife team Kevin Lemon GDC No. 67235 and Catherine Lappin GDC No. 67260 are the principal dentists of the practice.
Kevin qualified from Queens University Belfast in 1991 and moved straight into general practice. He held associate posts in Lisburn , Newtownards and North Belfast before moving to Dundonald in 1996 and taking over the practice from Mr John Moore. Kevin is particularly interested in minimal invasive cosmetic dentistry and in tooth whitening systems. He also enjoys keeping up to date with all the latest advances in clinical techniques and technology. Kevin is a keen cyclist and represented Queen’s University in the sports of rugby and judo.
Catherine, having taken a year out of her Dentistry undergraduate course to achieve a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry in 1989, qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Honours) from Queens University Belfast in 1991. Catherine initially followed a career in hospital dentistry, attaining the Fellowship of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons Glasgow 1995, with her research published internationally. She next moved into the Community Dental Service where she cared for children & adult patients with special needs before returning to the School of Dentistry Belfast to teach dental students as a Clinical Teaching Fellow. In 2010 Catherine completed a one year course in Dental Implantology before joining Kevin at Lemon Dental Care.
Julie Allison – Associate Dentist
Julie graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2015 and after practising for a number of years in England she returned home to take up the position of associate dentist in Lemon Dental Care in 2019.
Julie is passionate about all aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry and is now qualified to offer Invisalign orthodontic treatment.
A keen hockey player ,Julie was captain of both the Queens University and the Irish University’s Ladies hockey teams and currently plays for Belfast Harlequins in the all Ireland league.
