We are safely caring for our patients and are getting into the swing of the “new normal”.
Over the past months since 23rd March we have adapted new regimes and working ways – although we aren’t back to what we would call “normal” this is likely as close as we will be for the foreseeable future.
We are sure that you are all getting used to seeing masks everywhere and those of you who have visited us recently will be used to seeing us in all our additional PPE too. As usual our surgeries are meticulously cleaned and disinfected between patients and the practice continues to benefit from having our bespoke dedicated decontamination unit onsite for instrument processing and sterlisation.
Meanwhile in reception, now set up with plastic screens and hand sanitiser, the team are exceptionally busy dealing with dental emergencies and the backlog of outstanding treatment so please bear with us if the phone lines are busy.
Keeping you safe during the COVID crisis
We have put a number of measures in place to protect our staff and patients during your visit to the practice.
1. Please attend alone, no sooner than 5 minutes before your appointment time.
2. Please wear a face covering(unless exempt), these are a requirement.
3. Plastic screens are set up at reception and hand sanitising gel for you to use on entering and leaving the practice.
4.Our dentists and nurses will be wearing PPE, eg. gowns, gloves, visors and professionally fit tested face masks.
5. We would ask that patients bring a cardigan/sweater or light jacket to the appointment as the ventilation system we operate for your safety can cool the surgery.
